This custom, hybrid-timber frame home was designed and built on piers in Louisiana. The elevation will help minimize flooding-related impacts and allow for extensive parking beneath. Large windows let in ample natural light, revealing the beauty of the exposed cypress beams. This home is one of two connected by elevated walkways overlooking a prominent bend in the Tickfaw River.
